The Hyundai Creta has achieved an almost unbelievable milestone of clocking 2 lakh sales in CY2025 alone. That averages out to around 550 SUVs sold every day, or 22 SUVs sold every hour. The official press release from Hyundai confirms that this is the highest-ever annual sales for the Creta nameplate in a single calendar year. Note that Creta also completed its 10 years of existence in our market. During this time frame between 2016 and 2025, the mid-size SUV’s sales grew with an impressive CAGR of over 9%. This is a clear indication of how well the customers keep trusting this model. Interestingly, the sunroof-equipped variants contributed over 70% to the total Creta sales in 2025. Also, the diesel mill constitutes more than 44% share of the overall sales. Going forward, the demand continues to be strong.
